The Process

The Universal City Vision Plan is at the beginning stages of a multi-year environmental and public review process which will include many opportunities for public participation and involvement.

Universal City resides in both the City and County of Los Angeles. Therefore, NBC Universal will file an application for the Universal City Vision Plan with both jurisdictions for the 391-acre Universal City proposal. A separate application will be filed with the MTA by Thomas Properties Group for the Universal City MTA Station studio and office campus proposal. In the coming months, Universal will work with the City and County of Los Angeles, the MTA and the community to understand their issues and priorities for the Vision Plan.
