For more than 90 years, Universal City has resided in both the City and County of Los Angeles. It is time to take a fresh look at our 391-acre property and create a long-term vision that will allow us to shape a strong future for our businesses in a way that is compatible and consistent with Los Angeles’ priorities. The Universal City Vision Plan is a transit-oriented project that revitalizes our studio production facilities, explores extending our studio to the adjacent Universal City MTA Station, refreshes CityWalk and Universal Studios Hollywood and creates a new opportunity for much needed housing on our backlot.
